01. Award to deliver a lecture

Call for applications from residents of any country to a lecture on previously unpublished research. The lecture will be delivered in October 2008 in Beijing, China. The recipient of the award will receive round-trip travel, honorarium and associated expenses. Applications must be received by 31 August 2008.

02. Festival in the Netherlands

Folk dance groups from all countries are invited to a festival in the Netherlands 06-12 July 2009.



03. CID Section in Finistere, France

Announcing the creation of a CID Section based in the city of Brest, France. The Finistere Section of CID is now a legal entity and can receive grants, sponsorships etc. under French law.



04. Festival in Mexico

Festival in the state of Nayarit, Mexico, invites folk dance groups from all countries to take part. Dates: 26 October to 4 November 2008.



05. Artist in Residence, USA

University seeks a choreographer with teaching experience as full time Artist in Residence. Three-year position to commence September 2009. To teach contemporary dance and/or ballet technique, improvisation, composition and repertory.



06. Ballet instructor for Canada

Academy seeks instructor for classical ballet and creative dance. Applications are welcome.



07. Show wanted for Cyprus

Marketing office seeks company for a two-day event in Cyprus in December 2008. Dancers, costumes and choreography for 3 dance acts of 15 minutes each including acrobatics: a) A theme from a Disney movie. b) Theme from the movie High School Musical. 3) A Christmas show. Travelling, accommodation and fee by the agency.
